How the Test Works

Allow approximately 3 weeks once you’ve returned your sample for the lab to process your results. During this time, you will be able to schedule your 30-minute call with one of our health coaches. All of our health coaches receive extensive training from Dr. Cabral.

During your one-on-one call, your health coach will assess your symptoms and reasons for doing this lab test. Your coach will explain your lab results, answer any questions you may have, and you walk away with personalized recommendations according to your test results. These can include:

Once you have mailed in your lab sample, please follow the steps below to set up an appointment to review your results and new wellness recommendations:

Q: Can I collect my urine sample if I am on my menstrual cycle?

A: No, please wait until your menstrual cycle is complete before collecting urine sample to ensure it is not contaminated.

Q: Do I need to avoid anything prior to collecting my urine sample?

A: The day before and the day of testing, we recommend avoiding bananas, pineapple, avocado, nuts and nut butters, alcohol and nicotine.
